मार्किट जैसा आचारी मठरी बनाये घर पर । Vandana ki kitchen
Ingredients:
- Sauf powder: 1 teaspoon
- Cumin powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Refined oil:
- Coriander powder: 2 teaspoon
- Garam masala: 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander seeds: 2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Yellow chiilli powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Carom seeds: 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Pickle masala:1 tablespoon
- Asafoetida: 1/2 teaspoon
- Chaat masala: 1 teaspoon
- Maida: 2 cup
- Mustard oil: 1 table spoon
Preparation of dough:
- Take maida in a bowl
- Add salt to taste
- Add 1 teaspoon carom seeds( crush carom seeds before adding)
- Add 2 tablespoon refined oil and mix it well
- Now add water gradually and mix it well to make tight dough
Preparation of stuffing:
- Put pan on gas stove and let it heat
- Now add 1 tablespoon mustard oil and let it heat on full flame
- After the oil is cooked, turn the flame to low so that the oil can cool down
- Be sure that oil is cooled down before adding spices
- Now add spices( 1/2 teaspoon asafoetida, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder, 1/2 teaspoon yellow chilli powder, 2 teaspoon coriander seeds, 2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon sauf powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, a little bit of salt) and cook for 1 min on low flame
- After cooking it, cool it down and add 1 tablespoon pickle masala
Preparation of mathri:
- Break a piece big as a lemon off the dough and roll it into a ball with your hands. Roll it with the help of rolling pin with soft hands as per required size. Now fill the stuffing and give the desired shape.
- Put pan on gas stove and add oil
- Heat the oil on full flame
- Now add mathri and fry on medium flame to make it crispy
- Fry mathri till it becomes golden brown
- Repeat this same process for all mathris
- Serve mathri with tea and enjoy
