Masale Jave recipe | Masale Sevayein recipe in hindi | Vermicelli recipe
Ingredients:
- Jave/Sevaiyen(Vermicelli) – 200gm
- Onion – 1 (finely chopped)
- Tomato – 1 (finely chopped)
- Potato – 2 (small pieces)
- Salt – to taste
- Refined oil – as per you need
- Green Coriander – (finely chopped)
- Peas – 1 small bowl
- Turmeric powder – ½ teaspoon
- Red chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
- Green chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
- Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Method:
- First put the kadhai on gas stove and let it warm on full flame and roast Vermicelli Jave/sevaiyen on full flame till it becomes light golden brown, roast Jave/Sevaiyen nicely else it will burnt, now off the flame and put it in a plate
- Again put the kadhai on the gas stove and let it warm, add refined oil (as per your needs) and heat it as well
- Now add 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds and fry it
- Add finely chopped onion and fry it
- Add finely chopped tomato and fry till it becomes soft
- Add finely chopped green chilli and mix it well
- Turn the gas on low flame, cover the lid and cook for 2 minutes
- After 2 minutes and add potato mix well on full flame, add peas and mix it well
- Turn the gas on low flame, cover the lid and cook till it becomes soft
- After 10 minutes, add ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, salt to taste and ½ teaspoon of red chilli powder and mix it well on low flame, now add Jave and mix it well, add 1 and ½ glass of water and mix well
- Turn the gas on low flame, cover the lid and cook for 5-10 minutes
- After 10 minutes, turn off the flame, add green coriander to garnish
- Masale Jave is ready, serve hot
