Kathal Ki Sabzi | Jackfruit Recipe | easy cooking Kathal masala Fry in hindi



Ingredients :
  • jackfruit(kathal) : 300gm
  • degi mirch : 1/2 teaspoon
  • turmeric powder : 1/2 teaspoon
  • cumin seeds : 1 teaspoon
  • coriander powder : 1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • green coriander to garnish
  • garam masala : 1/2 teaspoon
  • red chilli powder : 1/2 teaspoon
  • curd(dahi) : 1 cup
  • cinnamon : 1 piece
  • clove : 3
  • black cardamon : 1
  • black pepper : 18-20
  • bay leaves : 1
  • mustard oil
  • tomato : 2 finely chopped
  • onion : 2 finely chopped
  • green chilli : 2 finely chopped
  • grated ginger garlic : 3 teaspoon
Method:
  • Put kadhai on gas stove and add 3-4 teaspoon mustard oil, let it warm
  • First fry chopped jack fruit for 4-5 min on full flame and take it out in a plate
  • Now add 2-3 teaspoon mustard oil again in kadhai and let it warm on full flame
  • Turn the flame to low and add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry it
  • Add chopped onion and fry for 1-2 min, add ginger garlic and green chilli and fry 
  • Add tomato and fry to make it soft
  • Cover the lid and cook masala for 1-2 min on low flame
  • Add all the whole spices and fry on full flame for 1-2 min
  • Turn the gas to low and add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon coirander powder, salt to taste, 1/2 teaspoon degi mirch powder and fry
  • Add curd and fry on full flame
  • Cover the lid and cook for 1-2 min on low flame
  • Now add jack fruit and mix well
  • Add 1/2 cup of water
  • Cover the lid and cook for 10-15 min on low flame
  • Jackfruit recipe is ready, garnish with coriander leaves
