Egg masala curry recipe | simple egg curry recipe | how to cook egg masala curry
Ingredients :
- Boiled eggs : 6
- Grated ginger garlic : 2 teaspoon
- Green chilli : 2 finely chopped
- Potato (optional) : 1 chopped
- Cumin : 1 teaspoon
- Degi mirch : 1 teaspoon
- Tumeric powder : 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Garam masala : 1/2 teaspoon
- Coriander powder : 1 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder : 1/4 teaspoon
- Green coriander to garnish
- Onion : 2 (paste)
- Tomato : 3 (paste)
- Mustard oil
- Black cardamom : 1
- Clove : 4
- Black pepper : 10-12
- Cinnamon : 2 piece (1 inch)
- Put pan on gas stove and add 4-5 tablespoon mustard oil and let it warm
- First add potato and fry for 2-3 min on full flame and take it out in a plate
- Now before adding egg turn the gas to low and add egg carefully
- Fry egg on medium flame( egg will burst at full flame) and take out in a plate
- Now prepare egg gravy in the same pan
- There should be 2-3 tablespoon oil in pan
- Heat the oil and add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds and fry it well
- Add ginger garlic and green chilli and fry for 1-2 min on full flame
- Add whole spices and fry for 1-2 min
- Add chopped onion and fry for 1-2 min
- Add tomato paste and fry for 1-2 min
- Cover the pan and cook masala for 2 min on low flame
- Open the lid, masala is ready and add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1 teaspoon degi mirch powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, salt to taste and mix it well
- Cover the pan and cook masala for 1min on low flame
- Open the lid and add 1/2 glass of water and stir well
- Now add potato and egg and mix well
- Cover the pan and cook for 15 min on low flame
- Egg curry is ready, turn off the gas and add green coriander to garnish
